Each robotics research group is led by faculty in one of our academic departments. Each group typically has a different research focus - some groups focus on an application area such as medical robotics or manufacturing automation; other groups are driven by a particular technological challenge, such as perception, control, or machine learning. Each research group typically includes a dozen or so researchers, comprising graduate students, postdocs, and undergraduate students doing research for credit. Most research groups meet once a week for group meetings. Contact the faculty lead of each group if you are interested in joining the group, or just learning more about their activities.
